Point Pleasant Beach is part of the barrier islands on the Jersey Shore. There are approximately 4,500 residents with two schools offering a kindergarten through 12th grade education. The high school which is considered to be excellent has a student to teacher ratio of 9.7/1.

The beach is a little over a mile long with a boardwalk that offers many different amusement rides as well as Jenkinson's Aquarium. Fishing is everywhere from nearby Barnegat Bay, the Atlantic Ocean and "the Wall at the Manasquan Inlet where the Atlantic meets the Manasquan River. Two sailboats offer year round cruises and there is, during the summer months, parasailing. Of course there are many restaurants offering different cuisines and Motels most with pools for the guests.

New Jersey Transit stops in Point Pleasant Beach so people will come for the day or stay in one of the motels near the ocean. With so much to do you will never be bored and one last perk are the beautiful sunrises.
